In just a few short weeks, we'll be moving from WA to VA, so we took one last trip to Mt. Rainier National Park. We stayed at the Alta Crystal Resort, went swimming in their heated outdoor pool (it was 80° and higher outside!), went hiking on the mountain, and took the gondola ride up to the top of Crystal Mountain and saw the surrounding views of the Cascades: Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens, both over 60 miles away, and Mt. Rainier just 12 miles away. What a wonderful memory before we leave this place!
On the road down to Enumclaw from our house, we passed this scene. I couldn't pass this by without taking a photo!
High up, way, way, way, high up we went in one of these gondolas. Astounding views.
Yes, it's June, but there's still plenty of snow to be found!

The sun has set, so there's not a lot of color left in the sky.
