The Virginia Landscape |Virginia Photography

I haven't been getting out to explore here in Alexandria as much as I did in Poulsbo, but when I do, I'm always glad there's something interesting to see!

I was at a client session when this scull passed by. I loved the minimalism of it and removed a ton of background details (far bank, for the most part) in order to really draw the eye to the watercraft. I loved that all the rowers were wearing different colored shirts. It made for a really happy feel.

We went for a hike in the Shenandoah National Park and climbed up to Mary's Rock. This was the scene at the top. It was a gorgeous day, made even better when I saw the silhouette of a mom and son on the summit.
